Bud Billiken Parade's In-Person Return

I was so excited about the return of the Bud Billiken Parade, a Chicago tradition for African American families since 1929. This parade represents “a commemoration of our past and celebration of our future.”

There is nothing like witnessing this spectacular event in person, feeling the energy from the performers and the crowd’s excitement. It always brings back great memories of my childhood.

I can’t wait until next year!
